SUSTAINABILITY
All of us can recall, at least in a broad sense, our childhood dreams. While some are particular to our hopes and plans for the future, others remain universal. The dream of a healthy, supportive family is one that we all share.

However, according to The United Nations International Children’s Fund, one hundred million children are abandoned stranded in the streets. 40% of them in Latin America alone.

Cd. Juarez, Mexico, alongside its border with the US does not escape this alarming reality. In the year 2006, 300 babies were abandoned in the streets of our city, Cd. Juarez, Mexico.

Troubled, innocent lives who struggle with feelings of worthlessness, confusion, anger and sadness, whom, if not rescued, will most likely develop a criminal behavior pattern. Unaided, they will lead a life full of dismay….Of total absence of dignity.

We are here to turn those lives around. To offer them the opportunity to find a new life free of scars, by providing them with care, education and therapy. They have to be given the chance to be raised surrounded by the love every child deserves. To be part of a loving family they can call their own.

Its organizational structure and operation is sound, reliable, sustainable in every aspect.

•Sustainability Health…Comprehensive physical and emotional health of children is a priority.
•Sustainability Social… We respond to an unmet, urgent necessity which must be resolved once and for all.
•Sustainability Humanitarian...Job opportunities are created both for seniors and physically challenged associates as well, for whom employment is limited elsewhere.
•Sustainability Economical...An “all-green” building facility totally operated on solar and eolic energy, which optimizes and significantly reduces operating costs.
•Sustainability Ecological... Ecothecnical design. Green house, hydroponic systems, active and passive systems, water recycling and rain water utilization. All in an effort to contribute to the preservation of our home, our planet.

The only non-profit Rehab Center of its kind in our community that operates solely on donations to provide homeless, disabled babies with a new home… their new family

• Spacious living areas. Here they find not only shelter and proper nutrition to satisfy their basic needs. We have gone a step further, in order to provide their own space to share in a cozy home and large living areas within a traditional family setting which creates a sense of belonging.

• Psychology, Neurology, Pediatrics. Field specialists are in charge. A personal therapy program follows, until desired progress is achieved.

• Physical theraphy. In an effort to optimize and motivate the child, a playground -like setting has been carefully planned. State-of-the-art rehab equipment, guided by certified caretakers, to make therapy a time for fun and relaxation.

• Formal Montessori education. The child learns by means of all his senses, based on theories of self- development and self-directed activity, clinical observation and academical concepts which support his rehab program, and promote independence.

• An all green-building facility. Carefully designed. A breakthrough opportunity for practical hands-on learning experience. In an effort to strengthen his healing, the child is in total contact with nature, orchard, green house, farm animals and, ultimately, the universe around him. He participates in the utilization of ecothecnical spaces, all of which make this facility one of a kind.

• Sharing with disabled members of his family. By sharing day-to-day learning experience and life with disabled brothers and sisters, children become living proof that we are all special in our own particular way by adapting, helping, studying and playing together, while they learn to appreciate and love people by what they are, not by what they look like.

• Adoption program. Uniting families. Every child is candidate for adoption. We walk potential families from all around the world, through every step of the way to adoption. An opportunity for a whole new beginning.

We cannot turn a blind eye to the despair of our babies. We need to unite in community action to make sure that they find faith in their unique abilities. To ensure that they have access to the support they need to face life’s challenges. Thank you for joining us in this effort to secure their future.
